MSNBC: Into America
Blood on Black Wall St.

The 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre—a white-mob attack that destroyed more than 35 square blocks of Greenwood (“Black Wall Street”), killed an estimated dozens to hundreds, and left thousands homeless—is among the most tragic and sensitive chapters in U.S. history.

Trusted by MSNBC, America’s 2nd largest cable network by audience, I built the television launch creative within the show’s strict red-and-black palette: evocative archival imagery, typography from the era, and careful pacing to match the gravity of the material. The campaign helped the series surge to #1 on Apple Podcasts shortly after airing.
